Nexus SMP | Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms & Minecraft EULA

By accessing the Nexus SMP Minecraft server, Discord server, or web store, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Nexus SMP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Mojang AB, Microsoft, or any of their partners. All purchases are voluntary contributions to a hobbyist community project.

2. Virtual Goods & Licensing

When you purchase a "rank," "perk," or any digital item, you are not purchasing ownership of that item. You are purchasing a limited, non-transferable, revocable digital license to access specific features on our server. These features have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

3. The 30-Day Pass Model (No Subscriptions)

All ranks are sold strictly as one-time, 30-day passes. We do not offer recurring subscriptions or automated billing. It is your sole responsibility to manually repurchase a pass if you wish to retain your perks after 30 days.

4. Strict No-Transfer Policy

Account Loss & Hacking: Ranks and perks are permanently tied to the specific Minecraft UUID (In-Game Name) provided at the time of purchase. Under no circumstances will ranks be transferred to a different account.

If you lose access to your Minecraft account, migrate accounts, or if your account is compromised ("hacked"), your rank will not be moved or refunded.
If you input the wrong IGN during checkout, we are not responsible for the lost funds.

5. Server Rules & Forfeiture

Purchasing a rank does not exempt you from Nexus SMP's community rules. If you are banned, muted, or suspended for cheating, griefing, harassment, or any other rule violation:

Your rank and remaining time are immediately forfeited.
You will not receive a refund, prorated or otherwise, for the lost time.

6. Right to Modify & Hobbyist Clause

Nexus SMP is a hobbyist project. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to:

Add, modify, or completely remove rank perks at any time to ensure server balance or comply with Mojang's EULA.
Take the server offline for maintenance, resets, or permanent closure.
In the event of a server wipe, reset, or permanent closure, no compensation or refunds will be issued for active rank time.

7. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXUS SMP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVER.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic (Slovakia). Any legal disputes must be resolved within this jurisdiction.
